Y GO Shuttle · Le Havre
A shared van picks you up at the Le Havre (or Honfleur) cruise terminal on the hour, drops you in Étretat and brings you back on the return run you choose. Pick it if you want the cliffs on your own terms without hunting for the bus 21 stop across town.

Y GO Shuttle built this for cruise passengers. Vans leave the terminal at 8:00, 9:00, 10:00 and 11:00, carry 8 people at most, and the coordination centre tracks your ship in real time. The driver waits at the pickup point with a sign. Keep your ticket: it's a round trip, valid for one day, and you'll need it for the ride back.
In Étretat you're on your own. Guests report four to five hours: one couple was collected at 9:00 and agreed a 2:00 p.m. return. That's enough to climb one clifftop, walk the promenade and sit down for lunch. If your ship docks in Honfleur instead, it runs from there too; a guest did exactly that in 2024 and still fitted in the gardens, lunch at the Dormy House and ice cream.
The caveats come from the reviews. Two of 13 are poor: a driver about 30 minutes late at pickup and up to 20 minutes late on the return (the company blamed a customs check at the port), and a driver who was hard to find without his sign. Agree the return time in writing on WhatsApp and keep a buffer before all-aboard. The do-it-yourself option is the LiA bus 21 at about 2 euros, but it leaves from the Le Havre stations, a 25 to 30 minute walk or a tram ride from the terminal.
Walk out to the terminal pickup point and look for the sign. Message on WhatsApp if you can't see it.

★★★★★We were picked up on the dot at 9am, the pre arranged time. When we arrived in Etretat we agreed with the driver that he would pick us up at 2pm and he was spot on time again. [...] On the day of our tour the driver communicated with us via WhatsApp.
★★★★★Perfect option if you want to do your own thing. Our ship was docked in Honfleur, so we used this round trip service to take us to Etretat, France. [...] Driver was very nice and spoke great English.
★★★★★The booster seat that we had requested for our child was ready to go without having to ask. Our driver was right on time for the return trip and we couldn't be happier that we chose to book this!

Yes. LiA line 21 runs hourly from Le Havre Gares to Étretat for about 2 euros and takes about an hour. It doesn't leave from the cruise terminal, so add a 25 to 30 minute walk or a tram ride, and there's no ship tracking. Our cruise port guide has the details.
The company tracks arrivals and adjusts the pickup. You can cancel for free up to 24 hours before, and a guest whose captain skipped the port because of high winds reports an immediate refund.
