Blue Fox Travel · Paris
A minivan takes eight people at most from Avenue de Wagram to Monet's house and gardens in Giverny and back in about 4.5 hours, entry included. It doesn't go to Étretat: it's the other half of the Monet story, for a separate morning or afternoon from Paris.

Get the geography straight first. Giverny is about 75 km west of Paris and roughly 170 km from Étretat, 2 hours apart by road. This tour stays in Giverny. If you want both in one day, the Clewel private day does it; otherwise book this for one half day and the cliffs for another.
Blue Fox Travel's guide is also the driver. You meet at La Flamme, a café at 6 Avenue de Wagram, 15 minutes early: the tour leaves on time and there's no catching up. On the way the guide covers Monet's life and family. In Giverny you usually stop first at the churchyard of Sainte-Radegonde, where Monet is buried, then the Clos Normand flower garden, the water garden with the green Japanese bridge, and the house, with entry included. Guests on the 8:00 run report being back before 1 p.m.; there are afternoon departures too.
With 1,999 reviews averaging 4.8, it's well tested. The complaints are about time alone: inside the gardens you mostly explore by yourself, and one guest said 'there is no real tour'. The queue for the house can be long. Monet's house and gardens open from 1 April to 1 November 2026, so this is a spring-to-autumn trip. Minimum age 7; the paths are gravel with steps, which makes it hard with a walker.

★★★★★He provided a great orientation via a small walking tour prior to arriving to the Gardens. The tour was in early October, not crowded at all. There was plenty of time to tour the beautiful Gardens.
★★★★★Ryan was a wonderful tour guide - interesting, enthusiastic, informative, helpful, courteous, and funny. He was extremely knowledgeable of Monet, the home, the period, and the town of Giverny.
