Dream City Bus Tours · Paris
A coach leaves the Arc de Triomphe at 7:30, gives you about two hours at the Étretat cliffs, then two more in Honfleur's old harbour. Pick it for the price: it's the cheapest way to see both towns from Paris without driving or juggling trains and buses.

Dream City Bus Tours runs this as a classic coach day: one vehicle, one travel leader, two towns. You meet at 1 Avenue de Wagram, right by the Arc de Triomphe (Métro Charles de Gaulle - Étoile, exit 4), and leave at 7:30. A guest in October 2026 timed the drive to Étretat at about two and a half hours, on a coach with a toilet, coffee and water. The leader suggests a plan for each stop. Then you're on your own.
The listing promises a 2-hour visit to Étretat and names four stops: the Clos Lupin, Maurice Leblanc's house (from 8.50 euros per adult in 2026), the beach, the Jardins d'Étretat (12.90 euros, April to October) and the Nungesser et Coli monument on the Amont clifftop. You won't fit all four into two hours. Pick a side. Aval, on the left as you face the sea, has the Aiguille and the big arch; Amont has the chapel, the monument and the gardens. Honfleur gets another two hours: the Vieux-Bassin, the Lieutenance gatehouse, the wooden bell tower of Sainte-Catherine and the Jardin Retrouvé.
Three honest caveats. It's a 13-hour day with about 5 hours on the road. Guests think the split is wrong: one wrote that Honfleur's 2.5 hours 'felt like too much time there' and wanted longer at the cliffs. And an August 2026 review says 'we got to go into the cave'. Since 28 April 2025 a municipal order bans the tunnels, the Trou à l'Homme, the Chambre des Demoiselles and walks along the foot of the cliffs, with a 135-euro fine, so don't plan on it. Meals aren't included, and the operator advises against it for travellers with back or heart problems.
Meet at 1 Avenue de Wagram (Métro Charles de Gaulle - Étoile, lines 1, 2, 6 and RER A, exit 4; bus 30). Be there 15 minutes early.

★★★★★We left Paris at 7:30 a.m., and the drive to Étretat took about two and a half hours. The bus was comfortable and had a bathroom, coffee, and water. Our driver was polite, and the tour company did an excellent job. [...] Be sure to walk up and down the cliffs to enjoy the views from different angles.
★★★★★It's good for those who want to explore on their own but still get enough amount of guidance so you won't have to waste some time trying to figure out what to do and where to go. I also appreciate the suggested schedule of activities, it gave us direction and focus.
★★★★★Amazing experience! Our travel leader, Rain, was wonderful. [...] Wear comfortable shoes if you want the best views! Honfleur was such a beautiful village too, it was raining for the most time we were there but we still enjoyed it so much.

About two hours, as the listing states. That's enough for the beach and one clifftop, Aval or Amont. It isn't enough for both plus the Manneporte viewpoint, which takes 3 to 4 hours on foot.
1 Avenue de Wagram, beside the Arc de Triomphe, at 7:30 a.m. The nearest Métro is Charles de Gaulle - Étoile (lines 1, 2, 6 and RER A), exit 4. It brings you back to the same spot in the evening.
No. Since 28 April 2025 the tunnels, caves, the Chambre des Demoiselles and the beach at the foot of the cliffs are off-limits, with a 135-euro fine. Some reviews predate that or ignored it. Our cliff walk guide covers what is still open.
No meals are included. Most guests eat in Honfleur, where the harbour is lined with restaurants. Bring a snack for the clifftop.
